HELP! How do I pay my Citi card online

I just got my new Citi card recently and I have just about taken it to the limit. I want to go and pay it off now so I can redo it all over again . Problem is... the online payment won't allow me to pay anything because currently my Last Statement Balance and Minimum Payment Due is both $0.00, even though my available credit only has $160 left. Do I have to call a CSR and do a phone payment? If so, will there be a fee for that? I'm hoping I'm just missing something and that someone can help me figure out how to pay it off online. Unfortunately Citi doesn't allow you to make any online payments until after your first statement closes. The only way you can make a payment that I know of is at a Citibank branch. It does take a couple of days to post and show up online. After your first statement closes you'll be able to make online payments but might be limited to 2-4 times a month. When I got my AA Amex card I asked the CSR about the online payment issue and she couldn't really give me a conclusive answer. Hope this helps.

You can also do what is called a "push" payment to Citi any time you want if you have online bill pay through your bank or CU.

From a BK years ago to:
EX - 9/09 pulled by lender 802
EQ - 7/06-663, 3/10-800
TU - 8/10-772
You can do the same thing with hard work

That's a great idea! I'm going to do that now. Do you know how long it will be until it posts? I guess it's still faster than waiting for the statement to cut in 22 days in order for me to pay it that way. Thanks for the tip!

IME it depends on whether the creditor accepts electronic payments or a paper check. With my bank electronic payments generally take 2-3 business days and a paper check about 7 business days.

Do you mean charge more within the same statement cycle when you say "redo it all over again". My wifes Sears MC (CITI) does not allow you to charge more than the CL in any statement cycle. Not sure if this is true for all CITI cards.

If you pay your card off mid-cicle, your cl would be available to charge agian up to the limit.

With Chase, it only takes one business day.

If you pay today (08/25) before their closing time, it will delivery and post on tomorrow (8/26).

Your best buy mastercard is a HSBC product, they allow it. If we pay off the Sears MC with CITI during the cycle, they don't release the credit until the statement cuts. We have called to ask about, that is the policy.

we just got that same card, citi plat select. online it says we can make up to 4 payments per billing cycle. it said our first payment might be held for up to 15 days. it got released much sooner, though.
