How do you manage your wffnb issued cards?

Well I asked for them and got them now. How do you manager your wffnb backed cards? How often do you spend on them and how do you make payments? Any suggestions on how to keep my wffnb cards happy?

I've always used them once every couple months and put whenever it shows up on account and I have gotten auto clis. There not bad imo. How'd your FR go?

Had them for a little under a year and got 1 for each at 6 months.

I've gotten 250 300 and 300 which was about double what they were. Started at 250 350 and 350

They don't really seem to care if you don't use them for long periods of time but if you want the auto CLI at 6 months you better be using them. I have online accounts for all of them, but I set them all up in my bank bill pay for actually making the payments.

I have 3 of them. And not as good as macys but I get great coupons and specials to all 3 nearly every week and most of them are with the use of the card. Express last time I went to the mall was 20 percent off anything even clearance with you card. Theres no fees and if you PIF like a lot of us do who cares about the interest. I have them all setup to pay through each site. I keep a seperate account just to link payments from cards. Im a touch ocd.

i use my victoria's secret card all the time. use my ny & c card about once every quarter, & i just got my express card, so i've only used it once so far. we have a lane bryant card, it gets used 2-3 times a year. catherine's only gets used like once a year. these have been the CLI amounts:

VS: $400, $300, $400

NY&C: $450, $300

LB: $200, $200, $400, $300, $400

CATH: $400

these were all customer-initiated CLI requests, & only 3 of them were hard pulls. 2 LB, 1 NY&C. the rest were soft pulls.

WFNNB - World Financial Network National Bank

For mine, I PIF after the statement cuts.

I use mine (J.Crew store card) maybe every 6-8 months. I PIF when the balance pops up, or every now and again, I let it report.

I had struggles years ago to get them to update that the balance was back to $0 after it had reported. I had to dispute the balance with the CRA's on two separate occasions (hint: do this only with Equifax; definitely don't do it with Experian) to get it back to $0. It's been OK since then.

I let a balance report again in September before PIF'ing, and I'm waiting with curiosity to see if they will remember to update once again.

eta: oh, and I've never had an auto CLI, but I've gotten one on request each time I clicked, three times now, I think. $500 --> $2,250 (I don't use it much.)

I guess they are not that bad. Only drawback with these cards is high interest rate. But for people who pay in full and does not revolve balances these cards are good. Look like they are in between GEMB backed cards and prime cards.

I get a store card because I shop there, not because of the bank. WFNNB has been fine for me.

I do have a question for all you existing WFNNB card holders..Are some easier to get than others? The reason I have is bc I have a 6 yr BK and I know they aren't the most Bk friendly people at all. But I have a Lane Bryant existing and just got a Limited a few weeks ago. I really wanted a Pottery Barn so I finally applied last night and I got the 7-10 day msg when I'm thinking may be a denial but I hope not..
