topic Visa Signature reporting as Installment? Normal? in Credit Cards

My Chase United Airlines Visa Signature card is reporting as an installment loan on all 3 reporting agencies. I heard that installment loan's balance doesn't count for CC revolving debt utilization, so is this a good thing? Do I want to contact them to ask them to change the way it reports? It shows high balance and balance, no limit like I read on myFico.

Where did you get your reports? If it's from a 3-in-1 monitoring service, it might be reporting oddly on that, but correctly on the underlying reports. You'll need to check the full reports to be sure, or start with one of them and see what it says.

Many odd hiccups appear in technical areas like this with monitoring service reports.

Yeah it was through 3-in-1 service. On myFico, the account shows up without differentiation - it just says 'open account' with misc section saying "credit card." Thank you for a quick reply
