So 3 months ago I requested a CLI and was granted an increase. So three months later I see the CLI button again. Does Citi allow CLi's every 3 months? Most of my CC's require 6 months between increases. Has anyone had luck with them every 3 months? im thinking about calling.

Thanks!

Back in June, I called in to request a CLI, approved for $1000 CLI on my Forward Card. One month later, in July, I was given an automatic CLI of $1000. Last week, I was given another auto CLI of $1500. 3 CLI's in 5 months, totaling $3500.

In my experience, Citi doesn't have a 6 month rule.

Yes you are correct. Every 3 months you can get an increase provided the account has been opened for 6 months. However, if you click the button and you get a forum to fill out it will be a HARD pull, If they give you a number to call, you can ask for a manual CLI where it will be a soft pull. Not everyone receives one after 3 months. I have had luck without any pulls for more than a year now, I called the number on the back of my card instead of the number listed. However YMMV

Used to get 3 month increases after the initial 6 month wait on my Home Depot card; they stopped coming earlier this year. My DP Amex, on the other hand, has never gotten an increase. The account, which was opened as a Platinum Select in June 09, has been stuck at it's initial limit since.

See I'm leery, the Citi folks for my Citi American Airlines World MC says that if I fill the form online it may or may not be a hard pull. They said if I called we would have to do a hard pull. They said the only time it doesn't is if it goes gives you the option when you call to check your balance and says "You may also be eligible for a CLI, please press 2 to check now"....

I get mixed reviews about it. I don't know who to believe. I'd love it on my home depot account by Citi but I'm too scared to do it because a form comes up asking my income and bank info, as well!
