Dell and Cap One CLIs!

Just checked my Cap One (Platinum MasterCard) and they auto increased my limit from $2,500 to $3500. Started in '04 with a $500 limit.

My Dell auto increased two three months ago from $3,000 to $5,500 (September) and last month to $6,100. Started in '05 with a $1,500 limit.

for your dell, did you keep using it and/or paying for the balance? mine went from 1500->2500->3000 since I got it a year ago and i bought two laptops over the time... but not sure if that was why they increased it

I had a Dell biz account, and I believe personal and biz are two different entities, but without asking and without making the purchases to support it, the CL went from $5000 to $7500 to $10,000 in the span of about 18 months.

I used it in '08 and had it paid down to 750, purchased two more computers in '09 and had it paid down when they raised the limit to $3000. Then this summer I bought a WII and a TV, been paying it and they raised it to the $5500, then $6100. In my case it looks like they like usage.
