Was the CL on the 2nd card higher than the 1st?

Trying to gather information before I spend 3 hps.

In my case it wasn't higher for the 2nd but it was for the 3rd

I have 2 Platniums and a Sony Rewards

I got my first account in 12/2008 and after credit steps it's now at $4000. No rewards, perks or annual fee.

I applied and received another in 7/2009 and after credit steps was $1500 until yesterday, now $2500. Yes, rewards but annual fee (which has paid for itself with all the gift cards I ordered).

I did have a Cap One history before these 2 cards where I either closed them or they fell off my reports. But to answer your question, no, the second one was definitely lower than the first...by a lot in my opinion.

They matched the limit on my second and went higher on my sony card.

They matched my highest limit card with them on my third card. Currently have a 1%/2% rewards card with them, a secured card, and a Sony Visa.

First limit was $1500, second one was $750. Second one got an auto CLI to $3000 after 4 months, first one is stuck at $1500.

first cap on 11200.00 cl second is 500.00 never increased in two years , not worth the inq.

1st cap one was $300/now $500 since 1/2008....second in 4/2008 was $500 went to $750 and last year got an increase to $3250.00. I think its probably time to close out the $500 one...but it's my oldest cc account.

I don't understand Cap 1. My first card was opened in 12/2008. After a few months, they bumped it up to $1000. I apped for a second one a year later and they gave me a $300 limit. WTF? They gave me credit steps and it bumped up to $500, but nothing since then, and that was 9 months ago.
