BOA Accelerated Rewards Card

So i decided to apply for this card a few hours ago but got the dreadfull 30 day message.... i went to check the status of the app and its not finding anything... Is it possible that my app didn't go through? or should i just give it time for it to process? and i was also wondering how many people have been approved with a 30 day message....

I applied since i went on creditcard.com and i tried there credit card match and that card came up with a couple of others and did the application through the link they have there. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated thank you.

IMO I would just call them up and ask if a few hours have passed since you applied, just asking them if they received your application since it does not show anything on their site. If they received it then you mine as well ask for decision and if denied ask for your recon also.

I have never had any problems with the CSR's at BoA, while others have had issues. Good Luck

I hate that dreadful message.

Try calling their new cards department, they should tell you immediately whether or not they approved you.

I tried calling the app status number and got to talk to a credit specialist but she pretty much told me that my app is under review by the credit department, so i guess ill have to wait till monday since i doubt ill be able to get anywhere since its a saturday, i was wondering if anyone knew the backdoor number to talk to someone who can tell me exactly if im approved or not when i call back monday, i tried calling the numbers on the backdoor number thread but most of the numbers seem to be outdated :[

RiotM, if you can recall any of the backdoor #'s that didn't work and would please PM that info to me, I'll update the thread by removing those #'s.

If they denie me, is it possible for them to match my CR too meet qualifications for another of their cards?im gonna try but i wanna know if anyone has experience of that sort with them...

I have the black one right now, IMO it's better because I can redeem other rewards and not only cash-back.

I think I can redeem cash on that one too, but not sure though haha. My Bankamericard I can redeem both, maybe you should apply for that one if you get denied.

Im gonna definitely try to ask them if they don't approve me, if they can use the current report to apply for the card you just mentioned creditkid, i doubt they willletme but its worth a shot :] hoping to get the Accelerated card though :[

So i called this morning and spoke to one of the credit analysis and they transferred me to another agent to speed up the app status process since they still didnt have a decision. They transferred me to a really nice rep who verified some of my info, and came back and told me i had been approved by the credit department just needs one more approval which she said will be process by today and gave me my initial CL of 1000 since i was a new customer to BOA, i figured it be better to leave it at that since i dont want them to think im desperate for credit and have a negative reaction.

Congrats!! That's the same CL that I started with 3 1/2 months ago( Now at $3200). What's great about BofA is that you don't need to wait a certain amount of time to request CLI.

Just make payments on time and keep a low balance before you request a CLI.
