Do you need 700 to get a discover card, or will high 600's work. What bureau do they use also? I hear they are very hard to get.

It's possible to be approved for a non-store branded Discover card with scores in the high 600's but well into the 700's would be better. IMO, Discover is not an easy approval and you need to have a solid CC history with no recent baddies and no BK. I just apped with Discover last week and was approved for their motiva card. They pulled EX 752 (at app time) and TU 761.

They pulled TU on me and at the time I was just at 700 (695 afterwards). You may want to give it a try, the recon number is listed in that BIG discover thread or you can pm me for it.
