BoA Approval $5000!!!

Hey guys,

For the last couple of months I have been looking for a higher limit credit card without an annual fee to replace my orchard card. (They won't give me a cli, and they told me they would waive the annual fee this year when it came around, but then decided not to. I received a pre-approval offer from BoA in the mail the other day, and I bit the bullet and applied online. A few seconds later BAM!!, Congratulations you have been approved for $5000!!! yaaaay!!!! Bye Orchard bank!!

Lately, I've been getting lots of little increases--$200 here, $300 there. I hope this coming year I'll get a "real" credit line!

What info did they ask for? What CRA did they pull

It was a one page app. They asked for:

Name

Social

Income

Mother's maiden

Employment

The ref # from the pre-approval letter

They pulled transunion

just keeep your balances real low on all your other accounts becasue bofa is a piece of crap...lol im sorry just venting.

but they dont like high balances on other accounts and they dont CLD they just close your account all together so tread carefully and enjoy

congratulations! a very nice line of credit.

i received a smiliar ($5000) line of credit when i first applied with B of A 2 years ago... it's now up to $7900 via automatic CLI's.
