Two auto cli in one month.

I had the card since 07 and each time I requested a cli I was told no.

Then earlier this month received an auto cli of 2000.

Yesterday I logged in and there was another auto cli for 2000.

IM not sure what prompted the cli but my score has went up the last couple of months.

Well, so far the pattern has been a super CLI for those who have been a long time customer in excess of 2+ years and had to bear with the low limits during that time. I guess good things DO come to those who wait. Meanwhile, us newbies less than 1.5 years will be posting the same Good News in about another year or so. Thanks for the updates!!!

Hey, i had my cap1 card for over 2 years now. Nothing still.

I wonder if all these people getting cli have requested it sometime in the past and were told no. Now they are getting it automatically.

I had mine since august this year, I called 2x so far to get a increase both times I was told to call back in Feb.

hey, you might be on to something here! i just noticed my account is exactly at the 1.5 years mark since my credit steps ended!

I've had cap 1 since 07. I called and asked for a cli. The rep told me that my account was not eligiable for one b/c my limit was not suppose to go past $500. It's at $1050 now. Guess I'm stuck. It doesn't have an af though

Yep, tenure must have something to do with it too. They increased mine and I've been with them for about 4 years with only a $500 limit.

I've had mine since Summer '08 an still nothing. My FICO score has increased dramatically and I've gotten CLIs on practically all of my other cards except for this one. Bummer. I've been checking everyday! But nothing!!!

I just logged on to my Cap1 account today for the first time since the 10th, and there was a $500 CLI. I've had my card since Feb 2006. I was irresponsible with it for the first 3 months (went over my limit, didn't pay on time) so I didn't get the credit steps, and missed on payment the month of my house fire (Aug 07), otherwise I've consistently paid on time. I haven't had any increases since I first received it in 2006, so this was kind of a shock to me. I wasn't expecting it at all, but I'm super pumped!
