Just Got Approved for HSBC Costco Store Card!!!!

I went to apply for HSBC Costco Card at Costco. I asked them for the application and I told them NOT Amex. They handed me the application and I filled it out. He (the service desk csr) entered the info into the terminal. It came back the ref. number to call them to verify ID. I called them to answer security question (first what account I have on my report and then answer the public question (do I have mortgage and what car do I own or lease). I was able to answer all of the question. She put me on hold two times and it came back with the approval. I got approved for $3300. I believe it is as tough to get as Costco Amex. Even I have BB Card and RZMC and they need me to answer all kind of question. The whole phone call took almost an hour. Fortunately, my phone had a a lot of battery to keep the line and I was very patience to complete the process. After approval, I handed my phone to Costco CSR to complete the application and he handed me back the temporary card. By the way, it is for personal membership. They didn't tell me the terms of the card and I guess I have to wait for them to mail it to me. I just checked EXP back door and they didn't pull EXP. I think they pulled TU. My TU score was 738. I have no late, charge-off, perfect credit history and 5 INQs.

Congratulations to you Is this a new card from HSBK as I never knew they was affiliated with Costco, I also have a membership with Costco and never heard of this only Costco having a relationship with Amex, would your new card also be included with your membership like Amex.

Thanks!!!!It is not a new card. It has been around for years. They don't promote this card like Costco Amex and they didn't have application out on the floor. The Costco Card like Best Buy Card is financing card. Costco Card just like Sams Cub Credit and it doesn't have a card. The credit line is tied to your membership card. Just tell the checkout to put charges on your Costco LOC.

I got credit alert emails from both MPM and Credit Secure this morning. They pulled TU.
