Besides crown jewlers is there any other jewelry store that is easy to get credit through?

kay's/jared/j.b. robinson have been known to be friendly. it will cost a hard pull for each, but if you are approved for one you can app all three and have a shared cl that reports as individual cl's.

ex app and rcv 1k at one, then app the other 2 and they will report the 1k cl as well. looks as if you have 3k for utilization, but 1k is actually shared between all 3 stores.

I like Kay's.

They gave me a 6K CL.

Hard on EQ soft on EX.

Yeah I am going to try and get an engagement ring for the gf very soon if not later today and am curious what they will give me. I am thinking of going to either ben bridge or harry ritchie jewelers but I dont know if they'll give me financing and I really dont want to take an inq hit for nothing.

interesting that 3 stores report the same CL as 3 different CL's. How does it effect the aging of the accounts and drop in fico. If I have 3 new accounts that would dilute the age of the accounts. I am not sure how this works for fico score.

I was just approved for 3k with Kays yesterday, already open on their site, so if I ap at Jareds will they share the 3k and report separately as 3k? Also, what has been everyones experience with their credit reporting? How long before new TL showed up on reports?

Would you mind sharing your scores etc..I am considering kays now since they seem pretty generous with the limits.

Also who did they pull from?

todays fico's are: TU 577, EXP 572, EQ 614

I am pretty sure they pulled EQ but I will check...

WOW!! I just applied at Kays online and was instantly approved for..........

$5100!!!!!!!

Looks like im gettin engaged everyone!

I love this forum, seriously this would have never been possible without this place.

In the past 3 weeks I have gone from $0 in credit to now a total of $7350 unreal. I had never had a card over 600 before this.

My current fico's are in my sig. My TU score is probably lower now since I had 2 inq's hit it

So TU probably 645, EQ 637, and EX 641 I wont know who they pulled until tomorrow.

Is it considered a revolving account or installment account. That kind of CL could help my overall utilization. I have 3 recent inquiries on TU and EX but only 2 on EQ. I guess it wouldn't hurt to apply and then I have my inquiries evenly dispearsed. Any thoughts?
