they need several original docs in hand then yes. i overnighted everything, then appd on the phone when the rep had my docs in hand. my cc and savings accounts showed online after midnight. the loc was an instant approval, but i had to fax a recent pay stub (the other one was about 2 weeks old) to a loan officer, who faxed me docs to sign and fax back. the loc was online before i even faxed the docs back.

I applied over the phone and I go instantly declined. I started crying and the girl was very

nice she told me dont cry and she will look at that application again and I should call

after 24 hours and then I got approved next day.

you have to have an in to get into justice. we joined the national sheriff's association (sheriffs.org) for 35.00 a year. you can use that membership number to app for jfcu membership, then get some justice!

i chose the nsa visa cause the jfcu csr said that nsa gets a royalty for active cards. having worked along side of some of those guys when it was me, 2 other guys from local agencies, and 1 count them 1 deputy for the entire southern half of the county (and beleive me these guys didn't make anywhere close to decent money). i figured it was a nice gesture for getting me an in with a friendly cu.

I want NSA VISA but rep told me I cant have 2 cards with JFCU

i can beleive that cause the loan officer i spoke to when i opened my loc seemed very stand-offish whe i asked about multiple cards. her resposne was some members do have multiple cards.

Good for you--I don't know a single local law enforcement officer or firefighter who doesn't have to moonlight to make ends meet. That's just terrible.

gave up police work (being beat trash) because i had the opportunity to go fed civil service. with a wife and then 3 now 5 kids i figured it was a no brainer.

Do you have TSP (the Thrift Savings Plan) for optional retirement? I'm being recruited away from fed employment, and I swear that the only thing that makes me pause is the thought of losing TSP.
