We checked the application status for Daughters Citi Forward Card. Automated system said the application has been approved and we will receive the card in 7-10 business days. We do not know the credit limit yet. That is ok. It is a chance for her to get her foot in the door. Have to find out if Discover Student card has been approved. Not a bad start for a 19 year old. Zync / Citi Forward approved. I have to complete NFCU application for her. That is it. Hopefully she should be all set for the rest of her life in the world of credit.

Congrats man, im a couple years older than her and i was declined for both those cards in the past, I wish my parants started building credit history for me when i was younger, instead they got an insurance collection on my credit when i was 16, lol.. Congrats again

Wow, congrats! I wish I have the Zync, but then again I'm 18 and have only 4 months of history. Still happy with my CrapOne, Discover, and Citi Forward...

They are very good cards you have. I am sure you'll get zync very soon. I am glad you are online at 18 on this forum and learning things. I wish my daugther would the same soon and become active member on this board and learn. Oh well, I guess that is why kids have parents to help them out. I am very proud of you being on this forum at 18 and managing things on your own.
