BofA Recon?

So I was declined for a BofA Visa Cash Rewards but want to see if they will recon it. I tried the number listed here but I am having some issues getting through to anyone. It says they are closed and it has said that for 3 days straight now! Any help would be much appreciated!

Do you mean sat, sun, mon they were closed... I think they are just mon-fri, non holidays.

I got approved for the signature with a 721 EQ the other day. They were closed yesterday due to Presidents Day.

Hmm, I called again today at around noon my time and got the same response. Call back during normal business hours. Ill try again! Hopefully it will work! Thanks and Ill keep you all updated.

Thanks but that new app recon number is the one that always says to call back during normal business hours. Should I try another number on there? Thanks again for the help guys, its much appreciated!

I applied for the same card, and BoA app status website showing "no matches". I also have been trying to call the new app recon # listed here, but they have been closed all day everyday this week (according to the message at least). I think that particular number needs to be updated...Not sure if the others will work for new app recon.

Are you calling from A VoIP line (such as Skype)?

Some of these lines (and others) have a somewhat messed up caller ID. For example, if you call the IRS from Skype you may (dpending on where you live) get a similar problem. Their phone system tries to determine where you're calling from and then bases the hours of operations on that. Kinda of weird. Maybe it thinks you're in Hawaii or something.

Call 1-866-530-9825. It is answered as credit services, and no mention of BOfA, but it is. This is where I called today got approved and declined within hours (see my thread for possible reason why)

Update: I called this number from my cell phone 8am - 9pm M-F

Same thing happens from my cell phone if I call certain places. House phone works fine.
