      <description>&lt;P&gt;Opening a new CC will drop your score but only very briefly. Anything over 6 months before a mortgage is good. Just remember to get your util down below 10% before the mortgage app since&amp;nbsp;FICO scores determine your interest rate.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I agree with Credit.&amp;nbsp; If you have been approved for the best rates with your current profile, then do NOT apply for other credit cards and try not to run up any more debt.&amp;nbsp; Just keep paying off everything as you are doing now, and then as soon as you have closed on your new home feel free to apply.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
