Barclays AA Challenge Updates

I posted this near the end of another thread, but re-hashing this challenge to get more visibility:

Challenge: I'd like to hear updates from members who applied for multiple cc's during or immediately after their Barclays accounts were opened from July 2010 to the present. That should give us a good idea of how many survived the 6-7 month window or how many were closed due to adverse action:

Me: Opened Aug 2010 -- Closed Oct 2010, Priceline Visa (Shatner Card), No Balance, due to ONE new inquiry -- unrelated Auto Lease ended (Lease-to-retail purchase with the same lender who pulled a hard on my TU).

Applied Amex Zync, Best buy 3000 limit, Citi Platinum 1000, and US Airways Dividend miles 2400, Barclay never closed my card, I heard that if you open credit card within 6 months after you open your Barclay card, Barclay will close your account, didn’t happen to me. Note: within 6 months I was able to recover and 700 to all credit score

Opened the Priceline Sig in April of 2010, applied for AMEX in June and US Bank in November. No AA from Barclays. Aside from the US Bank, I don't think there were any additional inquiries on TU.

Can't add much because I've had my account since the middle of 2009 so haven't had this issue.

Hi, applied for Barclays BJs Visa in November 2010. Apped for and received Macy's, Nationwide, BOA, Amazon Store at the same time. Recently (Jan) received Victoria's Sec and approved for mortgage (I know.....shouldn't have had the app spree and had lots of explaining to do, but am hoping to get a good deal on a short sale).

Barclays hasn't closed my account.....yet. If there are any changes I'll keep you posted.
