Chase usually is not but some co-branded gets away with it, like Kohls... Hope someone answers soon about Amazon.

The store card through GE is for sure!

I just applied for this card over the weekend, and I have a bk that is 9 years old and was flat out denied! I called the backdoor number twice, and the first gal I spoke to was not helpful at all and confirmed it was due to the bk. The second time I called the rep was very nice and I explained my bk was 9 years old and due to Medical Bills. She said I can run a reconsideration again and further review your CR, I said that would be great. After a few minutes later there it was to haunt me the fact that I had two charge offs (PIF) almost 3 years ago was my downfall! I tried to explain that since then I have no lates and a great paymemt history but she went on to say that the combination of the bk, and the lates along the way there was no way for an approval. I might still send a letter we will see.

How old is your bk? Any lates recently?

Oh I would wait sometime. You need to at least establish a good history for sometime, just look at my example. I really beleive if I would of not had any baddies from 3 years ago I would of had a shot. Keep in mind my bk was from 9 years ago!
