Question AMEX CLI"S

I have the Amex Blue Card for 5 months now, just today I see the request a cli link on my account for the 1st time, my initial cl is $8,000.00 so I filled out the information on line and I requested my cl to increase to $14,000.00 and then there was a dreaded message you will recieve written confirmation in 7 to 10 days, has anyone recieved this message before and what was the outcome, I feel it was a denial, but if amex was not offering any cli why did the cli link show up today thank you for any information.

It might show up earlier, but it's a good rule to wait 6 months. Last time I got that message, it was a denial.

thanks for the information, did you ever ask again for a cli after your denial and was you approved. I quess I will just have to wait and see what's going on with myself with amex.

It's a decline. Check your email. You should have received an email to a link to get the status.

Just checked my blue amex account and to my surprise cli was granted my credit limit is now at $14,000.00 I requested $6,000.00 was to timid to ask for more but I wanted to for utilization purposes I had the account for 5 months now, so anyone else who opened an amex account around 5 months ago check your accounts for the online cli link, you may have one too. Good Luck
