Best Buy CLI

The BB card has to be one of the most generous HSBC cards. Hit the CLI two times a year and get a hard free CLI. I even have a decent balance on the card. Does everyone else ask for cli on the bb store card and what is the highest limit for the card.

Sorry the old limit was 5700 and the new limit is 6900.

Got the card in 12/08, $2000.00 CL and have gotten CLI every six month with the LUV button. Up to $6800.00 have had a small balance every time I hit the LUV button.

My CL is 1600 due for a CLI this month on the 23 wish me luck!

That's great to hear. I was approved for $2,200 on the day the iPad2 came out and used the no interest offer to purchase it. I hope to hit the LUV button this fall and sees what happens. Thank you for the info!

I have a friend that has a 16k CL.

But I believe in a post last year someone said they had a 32k CL.

So not sure what the max if any BB Store card has for CL

I have had a Best Buy Card since March 2008. It has a $300 limit on it. Never been late and actually hasn't been used in about a year. I called last month and inquired about a CLI and the rep told me they are not giving any CLI at this time! Is there a backdoor number I should call? Will they do an hard inquiry for this? Thanks in advance.

Do you have the BB store card or the Mastercard? Sounds like you have the Mastercard, which you can't get a CLI on. This thread is speaking about the store card, which is much more generous.

Oh, I see. Yes, it is the Mastercard. That's horrible they don't give CLI's a $300 limit is worthless.

I actually have the store card and hit the CLI button the other day and was denied. I got a letter yesterday saying that my type of account isn't eligible for CLI's. I thought I had my card since beginning of October, so I didn't have the 6 months. Does the letter mean I didn't have my 6 months under my belt, or is my account their Tier B card and will never CLI? It's a 600 balance...

No you cannot get a CLI on the RZMC.

I have had the BB RZMC for two years now and have recieved two auto CLI's (never called) over time. The first one jumped my limit from $500 - $800 after three months and then again recently they bumped it another $200. Since I mainly just use this card while shopping at BB (and always PIF) I simply don't treat it as a regular card but do use it at least once a month for a DVD or printer ink (I also put the iPAd 2 on it the day it came out and paid it off two days later).

After reading this thread I requested a CL.....Accept credit limit increase? Does anyone ever really say "NO..Just checking" LOL. Anyway I accepted the CLI ........very cool.
