AMEX PC Advice

I have an AMEX Gold that I got last August (2010). I use it every month and PIF. Also have WF ($11K CL no balance) and NFCU ($10K CL no balance). I would like to get an AMEX Platinum Delta Skymiles card. Should I wait until just before one year anniversary? Any advice appreciated.

I've only done one PC with Amex so I'm far from being an expert on the subject but my understanding is that you can't pc from a charge card to a credit card, so a pc would not be possible. If you want the Delta card, I would apply for it now since it will be backdated to 4/10. The earlier in the year that you pick up new cards, the better. With over 6 months of favorable history with them you should be easily approved.

Correct. You cant PC from a charge to a credit card. Its a new app.
