How long is too long?

Like many people here I have been cleaning up my credit and making moves to improve my current/future credit history....

As one of the goals, that I as well as others have is an unsecured CC.

I applies to Orchard almost 2 weeks ago, was given an approval and it says 'we are reviewing your application' on the internet....

My question: how long does this usually take? Is my app. in just some weird sort of never never land?

Probably the additional apps over the holiday weekend. You should receive your new card within 30 days at the latest. I applied for a card December of last year and didn't receive it til January. Lots of peopel wanting plastic for the holidays. Lots of issuers squeamish about releasing it this time of year.

Brammy, if that's the case...do you think we're more likely to get CLI around the holidays or less likely?

An established reltionship makes it more likely to get that CLI during the holidays, especially on store cards. Majors are anyone's guess in the current climate.
