AMEX & Teletrack

So, I finally received my teletrack report and had several charge offs on it from old payday loans from 3 years ago! I did take out the loans but paid them all back as far as I know. Amex declined me recently and listed teletrack charge offs as the #1 reason and this was why I requested the teletrack report.

Has anyone had any experience with disputing items with teletrack? I found virtually no information here or anywhere else on the web! My assumption is that many of these entities have gone out of business or changed their composition over the last few years and disputing them should be relatively easy as long as Teletrack investigations are real.

Call them and they wil ask for your social and tell them over the phone what is wrong with the TL I had 2 entries that were not mine stating I had charged off payday loans I disputed over the phone and they deleted them I hope that helps.

Thanks cw81! I called and disputed all of them. I will let the board know the outcome.

very interesting so we now know that AMEX is not only checking experian and innovis but also this teletrack that i have never heard of but just checked it out it (i originally thought u were talking about telecheck) seems like it is like that p.r.b.c. Wannabe CB.

Wow! I got confused by the "Teletrack" thing too. Thought it was still the off-track betting medium for the ponies!
