Where does Amex cards mailed from?

Hi, I was just approved for the PR Gold card from Amex and was wondering how long it takes to get to me. If anyone have the zip code (or state) where it will be mailled from would be very helpful.

Omaha, NE 68124....well, at least that's where my Blue Sky just came from.

I'm in VA and on three seperate occassions it took 5 days for cards to be delivered via USPS. However, the USPS website indicates that delivery time should only be 3 days.

Cards are mailed from Omaha, NE and payments are mailed to Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

I got an AmEx PR Gold after being an AmEx customer for 3 months (Had green card) and they UPS Next Day Aired the card to me.

I was just approved last night, and am going on Vacation this weekend, when I called to see if the card could be expedited I was told that the first card has to be mailed out, and a replacement could be next day aired but only after 10 days from approval...which wouldn't really help me...let's see if some magic happens and it gets here before Saturday..

Has anyone had any luck in getting the card after being approved in less than 4 days??

By the way I live in Texas, and I assume they are sent from NE ?

Just out of interest for those who were just Approved from the Premier Rewards Gold Card, what were your scores at the time of the app and did you have a prior relationship with Amex? I am seriously considering applying this week and just want to gauge my changes of approval.

If your scores in your signature are FICO scores (heck, even if they are FAKOs), I'd say you are a lock.

I applied in October. At time of app, I can't completely recall, I'd have to search through old threads, but my EQ FICO was no higher than 680. It might have been lower. I had some late payments that were just inside two years old, but no lates in the prior 21 or 22 months. I did not have any other negatives, no collections, chargeoffs, etc. I had a prior relationship with Amex, a revolver that was closed in 2005 in good standing, never late.

Also, I had my EX pulled by a lender recently and it was ~50 points higher than my EQ FICO. So it is possible that at the time my EX score was much better than my EQ score, though I did not know that at the time.

ETA: Found the thread. Apparently my EQ FICO was 645 at the time of app. http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Cards/Approved-Amex-premier-rewards-gold/m-p/748652#M231242 But I did have the prior relationship with Amex, and like I said, though I did not realize it at the time, it appears my EX FICO was significantly higher.

Thanks for the feedback Walt_K. Those are indeed MyFico FICO's, obviously I am not sure what my EX score is but I assume its in a simular range. I have no collections, Public Records or Charge off's at all. I have 1 late from March 2009, that's it. AAOA is 7 years with a credit history of 9 years and 1% util.

I figure I will wait until the end of the week (September) to app as it will be exactly six months since my last App. I currently do not have any relationship with AMEX so will be a new cardmember if approved. I`m also looking at the Blue Cash Preferred which I may also app for to compliment the Gold Premier, given I may downgrade to Gold after the first (free) year depending on how I end up using the card. Decisions Decisions!

I applied for AMEX on Monday and was approved. I recieved an email welcoming me to AMEX and saying that they are expiditing my card and it should arrive 2-3 days. As a result I'm expecting that to happen tomorrow Friday the latest. I didn't request this. I just got a suprise email. I'll see if I get it in that time frame. I'm already loving AMEX!!

I had a similar experience. My first Amex arrived in about a week. When I applied for my second card, they overnighted it without me requesting it. I put fairly heavy spend through the first card, about $5K per month, so maybe that was a trigger.
