First off let me say thanks to MyFico website and everyone that contributes information. I am batting .750 this year on CC apps and i'm not on steroids. If it wasn't for the backdoor numbers i'm sure I would have been denied on 2 cards I was approved for. That allowed me to speak to a human who could actually sit down and look at the whole picture. Which is what happened today with BOA. I made several phone calls which kept going to a automated system. I just kept trying until I spoke with someone and they approved me. I got the old 30 day letter notice when I applied, I was like thats not good, I need to speak to someone. Backdoor numbers are great!

It's at least 5k since it is a visa siggy. Congrats!!!!! The Visa Siggy perks can be nice at times (discount to soutwest, cheaper movie tickets, etc...)

Limit was $5k, I wanted more but got the approval so it will do. My last score was 679 TU off this site didn't buy Equifax. The main question was a CO that i'm disputing. The creditor put a late payment on it 2 months ago so it looks new and isn't it's over 6 years old. If I didn't have that I'm sure I would have got higher limit. The main thing was getting a live human on the phone from backdoor numbers. I told them the message I received advised I needed to speak to a credit analyst and went from there.

Congrats! that would be a signature card then.

And, 30 day may not always be bad, I got same msg last month when I applied this card, never called and approved 1 week later.
