I applied a few yrs back when my score was in the high 500's and was declined. Applied recently when my score was mid 600's and approved. Good luck !

I have the BB Mastercard and actually it is a complete joke. You need at least a 560, but it is through HSBC and they only gave me $100 CL with no AF. It is absoultely stupid, i took it just so i can improve my overall credit limit utlization and improve my scores, but i don't use it other than to pump $10.00 in gas and PIF each month.

The actual Best Buy Card is through Chase Bank and you have to have at least a 700 FICO to get approved.

I have had it for a year and they refuse to give me a CLI.

I'd say if your looking for a card to go w/ secured one w/ Capital One. I just applied and got approved for a $49.00 fee and you will be treated a lot better than best buy.

PIF for like 6 months and if scores are mid 650's i should have a great chance in getting the home depot card. I know i would use that card regularly for tools and all.

Naah i dont think its worth it , its been a while but if I remember right (do a search on here and google citi secured) Citi secured is more geared towards no credit profiles not profiles with baddies I wouldn't waste an INQ . Trust me I know you say money doesnt grow on trees but while you clean up your baddies if you can up your limit to about a 1000 each or more you will not need another secured card You will get unsecured cards with good limits . Take this period to be your incubation period its slow and can be frustrating and if you are anything like me very impatient and want things to happen quickly,

I know the feeling itching to get things done but sometimes the best moves are the ones not made.

Good advice, Yes im very impatient LMAO but I will hold off for a few months and garden my secured babies and CLI when I can. That FP card is gonna be hard to get upto 1K but 100 here and there will get it!
