But, if you care to know I got the notice again today from my home computer. So.. ?? idk.

About the AF for Centurion, I agree with Vish.
Hello Fico fanatics... Funny story : I recently charged alot of money on my American express. I have been shopping for a travel credit card and while on the site it told me I was PREAPPROVED for a platinum card. Considering my goal is to have a centurion by 23 you can only imagine what this did to me. Of course I should've been suspicious when it said the annual fee for zync is 15$ instead of 25$. But, I called to verify if the preapproval was true and it was not. Thankfully, because that card isn't in my credit plans just yet. The funny part is the feeling I got when I saw the pre approval.. lol I think gardening is starting to get to me.

It was always at a minumum $250,000 spent on an AmEx card (I've read only Platinum but others have said they've been invited by spending that much on other AmEx cards). Also, I do believe Walt is right as I've heard spending requirements have gone up and they are trying to tighten up the customer base for Centurion by being invite only and not calling to see if you can join.

It is Amex Platinum illusion" as an optical illusion. Going back to the original topic, I thought I saw a preapproval for the Amex Platinum...which was at the moment an "illusion". But, if you care to know I got the notice again today from my home computer. So.. ?? idk.

About the AF for Centurion, I agree with Vish. I've always read that 7,500 is the start up cost.

Its a soft pull: https://www201.americanexpress.com/secure/my-special-offers?btct=AMEX_APPLY_Main_SJ_N1_Bucket_ultimatePerfectCards:Targeted&ct11=AMEX_APPLY_Main_SJ_N1_Bucket_ultimatePerfectCards

As far as the AF, there really isnt any speculation. Google can answer that for you: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centurion_Card . I re-read the OP and missed he/she was already a member. In that case, the usual way. When logged into your account, click on the additional cards tab, and choose see all cards. On the far tab, it will either show current offers for you, or if you dont have any, it will say refer friends & earn rewards. and those offers for you can be elusive. They could be there one minute, and gone the next hour.
