Love Shop Discover :)

I ordered items for my boys (cocktiels and guinea pig) at Petco.com through Shop Discover. It was very high Cashback Bonus of 15% plus shipping was FREE with promo code with minimum of $39 purchase. I needed at least of $45 to meet $500/mo spending deal. It was worth it and it is pending ( I assume it is $6.79)

I like Shop Discover too. I recently bought some shoes linked from that site. You'll receive an email from Discover confirming the amount of cashback you've earned.

I used Shop Discover heavily in Nov. and Dec. and got a TON of cash back. I think I got between the bonuses for shopping online and clicking through the Shop Discover links somewhere around $65 during that 5 or 6 week period.

The promo code is for the shipping, not for the products. Moreover, I've made purchase at Petco.com with promo code for FREE Shipping in the past and received Bonus Cashback.

Shop Discover is a great way to save on things you were going to buy anyway. I love the buy online and pick-up in store feature for several local retailers I shop at. Great way to save 5% at Best Buy and WalMart. I have gotten $800-$1000 back in the last year.

Yes. On every Shop Discover page it says

Offer is not valid in combination with any other offers

Whether you get the cashback or not is up to the merchant. The merchant pays Discover, who in turn pays you.

You are reporting inaccurate information. When one uses a store linked to Shop Discover somewhere on the internet may be a promo code. The promo code has nothing to do with receiving the cashback from Discover. You are misinterpreting 'offer is not valid in combination with any other offers'. That is only saying one cannot use more than one promo code for one purchase. All merchants have that policy.

Do you get cashback bonuses on ANY category anytime you use Shop Discover or do the places you shop at have to fall under that particular month's cashback category? For example, June is the month to receive cashback bonuses from purchases made from Grocery stores and Drug stores. But what if during the month of June you use Shop Discover and make purchases from places that fall under "Travel", "Entertainment", and/or "Books". Will you receive cashback bonuses on those purchases?

The supervisor I spoke to at Discover clearly stated if ANY promo code is used the purchase would not be eligible for shop discover cash back.

Guess so. The cash back I was supposed to get from Ralph Lauren required a phone call. She said that the merchant pays discover so I guess its up to the merchant if they want to pay you.

Did you go to Discover's website and clicked on the RL link? That's the only way one can get the cashback. One cannot go directly to the merchants website and think they will get cashback just by using a Discover card. One has to go to Discover's website first.

Yes I did. After three months the cashback still wasn't there so I called and she specifically asked if I used any promo codes because they would not pay out if any promo codes are used. I didnt use any so she credited my account with the 5%.

Discover notifies customers via email within days the amount cashback they earned when using Shop Discover. I posted recently my experience with Shop Discover recently. My post showed the amount of cashback I received and the discount using a promo code.

It's collect! You will get cashback bonus % as they specified between 5% and 20%. This program is separate from 5% cashback bonus categories.

To earn these pts, make sure to log in to your Discover online acct first, then click the Shop Discover, and then select the store you want to shop.

Here is my step to use Shop Discover:

Find the store at Shop Discover ... look for higher % and FREE shipping deal

Site to Store at walmart.com
Store pick-up at JcPenny.com

Shop at the store's web site first ... add the items in the shopping cart
Log in to the Discover online acct
Go to the Shop Discover
Select the store ~ redirect back to the store's web site where I have items in the shopping cart.
Check out ... pay with Discover card.

Hi Everyone - I have q regarding shop discover for the Apple Store. Has anyone used the Shop Discover link to get to the apple store and then used an education discount upon checkout? The reason I am asking is because you can't tell when you get to checkout if anything is changed. Just curious to see if anyone has used it and gotten the cash back. Thanks in advance!

Just logged into my account, I received cash back on two purchases, using promo codes on both. Did the math, looks legit to me. Now it's time to redeem for a gift card or something.
