How do you pay your cards?

Just a thought here, how do you all pay your cards? Push from online banking, or pull from card's website? Or mail in a check???

100% cards' websites for any extra payments and utilize some of my CCs' auto-draft features.

I almost always pull from the websites but sometimes I will push a payment through online bill pay.

Always pull from card website. I started trying to set things up to push from bank one time when I wanted to make an extra payment to Chase and Chase's system wouldn't let me make a payment. After fumbling with the bank's bill pay for a few minutes, I just sent a check.

I push because I'm "pushing" through transactions over my CL each month and PIF from checking account every week. I will stop that practice as soon as I have a card with decent CL.

I pull from the cards website. I find it easier. I tried using my banks online bill pay system and it was too much of a hassle. It found multiple 'businesses' BUT couldn't find my account and I didn't want to risk it going to the wrong place.

I always pay via each banks' website. Occasionally, I use bill pay with my banking institution to push a payment through.

100% push from CC website. I have auto-reminder setup from each card for 10 days in advance. Plus, I logged into all my account once a week to check my balances, activities etc...making sure there are no fradulent charges.

I push AND pull. Which of the two I do depends on the difficulty getting to the payment option on a creditor's website, whether my bank will push a payment to a certain creditor (such as another bank), whether I am in a hurry (in which case I'll push payments to several creditors in a minute or two, whether I have the passwords I need and whether I want the funds to disappear immediately from my checking account (which happens with a push.)

You can't unless the CC company allow making payments without having a balance. Majority push payments through by using their checking account.

I push using the bill pay feature on my USAA checking account. Whats nice is that I can pay multiple CCs all at once as USAA lists all your payees on one screen. Also it lets you pick days for each payee and sums up the total amount to be paid at the bottom. I'm very fond of this feature!

Are you saying your bank doesn't have Intenet Banking that includes Billpay?

I can do online bill pay but I've never seen the 'extra' features, like adding up all the payments being sent. I had enough trouble trying to get the companies right in the system, which is why I don't use my bank's bill pay option.

CC company website. Tried online bill pay years ago and will never try again. Took way to long uggg
