Remember you can request one online, just got 500, they used to give 200-250.

started at 400 now almost 3000, a slow and steady grower.

Great card for Amazon lovers IME, w/ nice 0% promos, the regular APR as w/ most store cards,

relegates it to a 100% PIF product otherwise.

My last one was in December. Tried in April and again now and still no go. "Not enough experience at your current credit limit".

Well the problem is that no statement is being generated for months with no usage. Initially I had a 0% promo and I was paying down the balance and there was a statement monthly but after I paid off the balance they stopped issuing a statement anymore

Yep, GEMB doesn't do $0 statements.

I started building my credit with GEMB/Banana Republic, and after the 4th statement, I went from $300 to $1,000 auto. Since my credit lines are large, I'm hoping to get this Amazon card to at least $2,500 by year's end.

I think one thing they look for in consideration of CLI is some usage, generally <15% here
