Chase Recon??

I applied for a Chase card and got denied. Called the credit analyst and he said that he would approve my card.

He asked why did I have lates in 2009. I explained why and he said that he would approve; however, it had to be reviewed again and I would receive the info in 7-10 days.

Anyone had this happen?

I had a Chase prime card about 7 yrs ago with NO lates.

I had a Chase prime card about 7 yrs ago with NO lates.

The exact same thing happened to me back in 2009. I got denied. I called for a recon and got approved for $5,000. For some reason, I had to call back and got denied again by a second analyst for too many inquiries. Recently, I got approved for a Chase Freedom and Chase Amazon for $4,000 each.

If they deny you again, you may want to wait 2 years before applying again.
