JCP confusing me

So I get todays mail and I have a new JCP card (gol, now) but no CLI (which is what I was hoping for),

I don't need GOLD - I want a CLI -- should Iask (again) or wait patiently for them to raise it. Statement cut the 25/26 - due the 24th...

Or is just because I've benn putting $300/month on the card at CVS -- and PIF - that they think I shop alot so need the 'privileges'?

LOL!! you can call and ask. I am in the same situation. I now havea Macy's Gold with the same old credit limit as the Red. Looks like they have the sametype of upgrade program as Macy's no greater limit but just perks. Honestly, there's looks better than Macys'

Scarlet, why don't you go online and access your account. There's a "love button" on the summary page. They don't pull a hard inq on you, I'm almost positive. When I hit the cli button, 45 days ago, I got no hard inq, but it did update to the CRA's the new cli.

Maybe worth a shot. Good luck to you!

P.S. JCP has 3 classes of store cards: red, gold, and black. I also have the gold. I talked to a csr 2 days ago and asked what I had to do to get the black card. Answer? "Spend more money with us." LOL! The tiers are based on how much you spend with them.

I thought it was standard (Black), Gold and Plat -- I HAD A BLACK and they are saying they are upgrading me...

Its an upgrade in the amount of perksyou receive. Happens whenever you spend over a certain dllr amount during the year.

Could you please give me JCP back-door phone #. I have 1 closed JCP card with 2 30s days late payment. GW letter didn't work but i will try to call them and see if they remove those 2 late payments.
