Anyone having problems with WaMu not posting charges to your account?

I purchased a laptop from Dell online on Nov. 26, and it hasn't posted to the account, and it does not show up in "outstanding authorizations"(pending transactions not posted to my account". And the laptop is en route to me...it's been shipped already.

This concerned me so I called WaMu first...nothing there, and csr said it's probably on Dell's end.

Called the csr that handled my order & told him what I've discovered. We verified all information given to him was accurate, and the csr said "we've done everything by the book on our end. Maybe you should give it a few more days."

I get antsy when things don't go as expected(I want what I want when I want it). I can just envision the CIA coming down to arrest me for CC fraud, because I transposed 2 #'s on my cc over the phone. lol.

It's just highly unusual for WaMu not to have that thing posted yet. Any body have any ideas?

I find that strange too, Syl. I have had my Wamu Visa for only a short period of time and the longest that it has taken for a purchase to post is 2 to 3 days max. And right now Wamu is my workhorse card for the next couple of weeks. Does Wamu offer rewards cards at all??????

I ordered from Dell also and the charge didn't hit my card till it was delivered....No, clue why...All other items bought on line their charges hit my card when shipped.....

I am having the same problem not with a cc but my check card. Purchases I made from black friday at sears have not posted yet. Called my bank and they said they can see the transaction hanging somewhere in the system but not processed yet. I was told sears has up to six mos to process. I hope their sol runs out lol.

Funny you should say that SalesLady. I have a $0.01(yes one penny!) charge posted to my account for the same transaction(some kind of Dell add-on for small busines's), but not for the computer itself.

Thanks everybody for the input. I guess I'm in hurry up and wait mode.

Dell may have just verified the card but will not bill till you actually receive the comp. I have a lot of online shopping that does things the same way.

me! <raises hand>

Thought I was going crazy. It took at least few days for a gas charge and a Metrocard charge to appear or even show as pending. I thought DH was confused about what card he said he put it on.

There are people that get flat 1% on their wamu cards, but it is just something you just have to wait and pray for just like CLI.

Not sure about the hope and pray but I do know that they offer both points and cash back rewards as an upgrade at times.

For me, I got a CLI at 6 mos and shortly thereafter got the offer for the cash back or points. Not sure if it was becasue they were only making money off me on BTs of 1.99% or less or what and wanted to encourage me to use the card for shopping...lol!!!

What was you credit limit increase at 6 months, Brammy. Right now, I have a 1000 dollar CL with them.

The first increase was from 1k to 2500.00
