Thank you!!!!! Barclay CLI using Backdoor Number

I am new to the forum and have just been trying to get my credit score up and have used many of the advice I have read here to do so. I have been reading and reading for a couple months now and soaking in as much info as possible. Today I decided to act for once. I applied ofr the Apple Barclay card and got a credit limit of 1290. I then went one step further and called the backdoor number provided by you guys. After verification of my income, employment and a few questions from my credit report, I was approved for a 2300 CL!!

I can not thank these forums enough! Everything I thought I knew about credit was wrong and thanks to these forums I am sure that now I am on the right track to get to the 700 club! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I really am thankful to everyone who posts their helpful advice. Maybe one day I'll graduate to a "credit expert" like you.

Congratulations, LishaJoy! Isn't it great to be the one in the driver's seat? My goal is to be an "expert" with high scores, too.

Congrats on you CLI request!! Nice credit limit...........IMO Barclays is the best as far as recon and cli's through the backdoor. Use it wisely and keep your utliization low, and you should see some auto cli's after 6 months.

If I were to use the backdoor number with an already established account would I have to do a hard pull with them. Most of their CLIs are hard pulls, which is why i'm wondering if the backdoor number is any different.
