I finally got it in the mail today! I'm ready to make some cash back! with a 4000 CL. Any tips on how to maximize my card benefits???

Yes, to maximize I would grocery shop in actually stores that will be coded that way (another words, not Walmart). Also, my pharmacy is in my grocery store so I should be getting rewards back with that. Make it your 'go to' card for gas if you don't have a better one. Shop for holidays, or whenever, in department stores with it to get that discount as well.

My credit score currently sits at 731. But I believe having there charge card prior helped me get it not my score. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Amex has there own scoring system that determines elegibility.
