More Stpn2me Updates! AMEX application.....

Hey everyone!

I just applied for the USAA AMEX cash rewards card! Guess what? I WAS APPROVED!! YAAAAA!!!

11.4 APR (prime +3.9) $10,000 Credit Limit...pretty good I think. I didnt go for the rewards points card because I dont think I would use the points all that much. I like the idea of a cash back reward every Jan. What do you guys think? Would you have gotten the points card instead?

P.S.

I wont be apping for anything else!

Nice job! I started out with the cash rewards on my MasterCard, and when they gave me the AmEx, I went with the points. Without realizing it, I put a lot on the AmEx and got enough points to gift to my daughter so that she could use them on a plane ticket.

I never even really noticed when they posted my cash rewards to the MC in January, and since I'm doing a bunch of remodeling, I converted the MC to points also. In the end, I think it's six of one, half a dozen of the other, except that I think that in the first year, you get more points when you charge.

I was so clueless when I started with these things that I didn't even realize that I was getting anything, period, so I'm afraid I'm not much help on year 1 details! but congrats again --have fun!
