How Many AMEX Cards Do You Have

AMEX was one of my first cards so I pay for the benefit of I having a high AAOA - 4 cards dating back to 2000.

If I can find some proof, I had an AMEX card in the late 70's that is still (can you believe it) on my CR. I just can't find a statement for proof and AMEX doesn't have any record of it so they will not back date me to 1979.

That is what I am holding out for, 4 cards with 30+ years of history.

I have 10 accounts that back date to 1991....Even got a letter from Amex..thanking me for 20 years of membership

If it is still on your reports, pull your full Experian report from annualcreditreport.com. There is an account number on that report that can be used to locate your account. It isn't the same thing as your Amex account number, it is a number that is specially generated for the report for security purposes. And it has a different number of digits than a typical Amex account number, so it may confuse some CSRs. But using that number, they were able to find my account that they could not find with my name and SSN.

I thank her everyday for the 7 year blessing she has bestowed upon me LOL

Next year it falls off, oh well. You make descisions and you live with them.

I have two dated back to 1997 Will get the third one this coming January 1997. Me and AMEX will go back in time for them to say you're approved.

I have one.

They sucked me into accepting a card after almost twenty years because they offered me 75,000 MR points.

And I'm watching them more than they're watching me.

(I still hate AMEX).

I have 2, my PR Gold and my Costco TE Card. I would consider a JetBlue card since I fly them all the time if there were more perks of being a card holder (kind of like the US Air card) but for right now my PR Gold gets all my purchases unless AmEx is not accepted.
