In most cases Amex will suddenly and <EM>sometimes</EM> without warning freeze all your accounts until you provide proof of your HHI (household income). The FR process requires you to submit pay stubs, IRS documents and/or a full blown audit with a CPA (this according to Tuscani). There have been a lot posts on this subject.
