Really freaked me out!!! I thought it was one of my older accounts reporting a newer opening date but its a new account reporting an older reporting date.

Any guesses if this account has a year age instead of 4 mos?

I have no idea. I know 6 mos of good history but since some accounts don't report a 0 balance are they using the reporting date or the open date...we shall see.

My Amex Account is showing the same sort of thing on my CR

This is ODD... Since I actually opened my account in 09/2007

Think Amex is giving us perk since we will inevitably go thru FR ?!?!?!

amex gives history from the day you became a member. did you have or were an au on an amex cc that was opened in '02? even if it was a company card, that would do it.

The odd thing aboutt this is the reporting date is BEFORE the opening date

I was on the road with an "artist" and had a gold Amex card from the Tour.
back in 2002.

So,, will this benefit me ?!?!?!?!?

I closed a CU CC and opened a better one with them. The new one has three years of history with EX and TU, even though it was opened a couple of months ago
