I changed my Delta skymiles to the Blue after 2 months and no problem.

I requested a "product change" to Blue Cash 2 weeks after I received my Delta Skymiles and got it. I received my Delta back in the middle of October and I'm still waiting for my blue. I checked my account today and they just changed my card to Blue Cash so I guess it's on the way.

elilow2 you might want to give them a call.I waited 1 month for it to arrive and they forgot to send it out.
It took my blue one week to arrive after I called them.

Congrats on your conversion and your CLI.

I really dont know why ppl are down on the Delta card.

I have the Blue Cash and the Delta and I prefer my Delta. Maybe because I live in Atlanta and Delta headquarters are here and they have direct flights to london and 12 times daily to New York and I get double sky miles and thats basically the only airline I fly and I can catch the train to the airport and I can use their airport lounge and they emerged from bankruptcy and now they fly direct to my wifes home country and they have a shoe shine stand in the terminal.

Where I am in the midwest, I dont get much out of delta, cant even tell you the last time or if I have EVER flown Delta. I just wanted to get in with AMEX, nothing against Delta or the card!!

I like the Delta too.

I just received a pre-approved offer for Blue - but waiting for a CLI and scores over 700 first.

I was sure disappointed, when their financial problems a few years back that caused them to pull out lock stock and barrel out of DFW. Their huge cargo terminal now stand empty.

I used them a lot in int'l exports.
