Is Discover doing mass "pre-approved" mailings again?

I got one today and was wondering if others had, too.

I applied back in 2009 and was rejected due to my 2004 CH7 BK. In the denial letter they also had the nerve to tell me I had too many retail store cards.

I get two a week from them. Along with two fro Chase (different products) and two from Citi (again different products). I have also started getting one every three weeks or so from First National Bank of Omaha. Go figure. Only one I don't get are Bank of America, where I have my mortgage, two checking accounts and a savings account.

My scores are in the high 600's across the board; EQ, TU, EX.

BUT that BK will be on my CR unti 20t4, and Discover is not BK friendly.

I figured they were just sending out mass mailings by zip codes and soft INQS.

I am not going to apply. I already did that in 2009, lesson learned,

Hi Pazuzu,,just to let you know!!,Discover is BK friendly..I was able to get a Escape Card with a 5k Limit...

How old was your BK when you were approved?
