Navy Fed CU CLI ??

Does anyone know if Navy Fed pulls hard or soft for a CLI request? Their CS rep would not tell me and said that I needed to ask the CRA!!!

CLI with NFCU will be a hard. My recent CLI was a hard on EQ. Original was 4k, I requested 10K and was approved.

I normally request cli online. Some times I got cli with out hard. When they did hard they pulled eq.

Thanks for the replies. I spoke w/another CS rep today and she said that they *always* pull hard for CLI or to reduce interest. She also said that they rarely give CLI without the consumer requesting it.

I think a lot of people on the forums have expressed somewhat the opposite experience with NFCU, for the auto (non-requested) CLI... If I recall correctly, a lot of people are seeing them on their 6/12/18/24/etc month anniversaries.

I believe I got one at 12 ($14K-$15K), 18 ($15K-16.5K), and 24 (16.5K-19.8K)... Though YMMV. Never asked for one though (never a hard). Anyone else?

I got the increases @ 12 (15K-16.5) and 18 (16.5 - 19.8) without asking. Didn't even get a notice on the 2nd one. I was looking at my on-line account one day and there it was.

I'm thinking about asking for a CLI at 6-7 months. Has anyone gotten a CLI that early?

I got my increase at 6mths (requested it online). It went from a 3k limit to 7500. It was a hard pull for me.

Received a CLI by online request less than 90 days after initial app 15k >> 21.5k IIRC. Hard TU (other two cbr were frozen.)

That's interesting. I wonder why they were willling to give you so much more credit so shortly after you were initially approved. It's not like your credit report probably changed that much in a couple of months, or that you "proved" your credit-worthiness in under 90 days. (?) Their CLs seem random to me.

I think alot of CLI's we are seeing on this board recently are due to the Holidays coming up ...hoping cha-ching at the cash
