Just proud to get my Cap One limit tripled to 4,000.00.So who out there has the highest revolving cc if you dont mind divulging this info,just for fun.

500 to 4K a few months ago- 8X CLI

My Capones have not combined yet- It will be 1 with 5K.

Revolving my largest is 5K CCCU

They just sent me an "upgraded card" so I called and asked for a cli, approved from 1400- to 4000.

I have a USAA Platinum Rewards Mastercard and a Bank of America Worldpoints Platinum Plus Visa, both with $10,000 credit limits. Not too bad considering I have less than 2 years of credit history.

Congrats on the Capital One $4,000 limit though. Cap One is incredibly conservative with their CL's. My first card was my Cap One card. It has only a $1,500 limit, and I don't really feel like messing with them to get it raised.

They sent you an "upgraded card"? Does this mean, they upgraded a sub-prime card to a prime card with a competitive interest rate? That would be perfect for my situation, but I was told they do not do that. That I would have to apply for a new card.

Thats what they said when I called, I got a new miles card in the mail, looked just like my old card.

I thought wth and asked for cli and lower apr and got both with no hard pull ,thanks to this forum.

Ksiss I was told the same thing when I called and asked about upgrading my card---they said it can only be done if applying for a new card--who knows i guess it depends on who you talk to--has anyone upgraded from a call in versus receiving a document in the mail

I have a rough 3 way tie, 2 Citi's and an Amex Optima at $15K, I think one might be at $15,200 or something. These are around 15 years old, and I never asked for a CLI. I believe they started around $500 or $1K.

DH thinks it's funny that I'm so excited about my new GapCard at $200 and my Macy's CLI to $800. I did take such an inquiry pounding opening up a bunch of checking accounts before app'ing for the GapCard.

My 20 year old Bank of America World Points Visa card has a $47,000 credit limit. This account has undergone a lot of changes since 1987.

No way can I beat $47,000 or $50,000. But I will say that back when I closed one of my two Citi cards (this was before I knew anything about FICO scoring and all that), they offered to combine my two CL's onto the one Citi card that I was keeping. Ended up being a good deal for me as it now has a $16,900 CL.

One nice thing about my $47,000 credit line Visa card is that it is not a signature card and the credit limit is reported to the CRAs--
