Just a friendly reminder to those of you who pre-registered for the $25 AMEX credit! Remember to shop at a local small business this Saturday. The rules say that you must spend at least $25, but I've heard of people spending less and still getting the credit.

Same here, but for $25 (and I have to work this weekend) I'll go out to a store that likely won't have a huge crowd in it. We have a liquor store here that is on AMEXs SB list so I'll probably stop in there

For those of you who didn't already know, you can register multiple cards (if you have more than 1 AMEX) and get a statement credit on each one. It's one credit per card, not one time per individual/household!

I did it with several cards last year. Now DW and I have 9 registered this year.

If you go to this page and click the "+" (plus sign) next to "See where you can shop to earn your $25 statement credit", you can do a search of businesses that will qualify for the credit:

The only real limitation I see is:

"Limit one statement credit per registered Card, regardless of the number of transactions you make using that Card."

If Amex defines "registered card" as a single trade line, then we're out of luck when it comes to maxmizing rewards.
