WaMu must be the only CC that actually does periodic CLIs.

Like clockwork, today marked my 3 year anniversary with them and they gave me my regular 6-month cli...mind you it was small, $1500 - but hey, at least i didn't have to request it...

I think this the only card I have that actually does automatic CLIs, when you have good customer history- Amex has never done this. Nor has BoA, Chase, or any others.

LOL! That's my highest cl 1500.. I guess "small" can be a very relative term.

USAA will also, though I don't know their schedule. I think that my MC went up $1000 after one year. My AmEx went from $3000 to $4500 at exactly 6 months. (The big hop was from me hitting the luv button.)

4 years and not one increase from them. I don't know how you people are getting them...wish I was. As soon as I can pay them off completely I will probably just close it.

At three years how much are you up to?

I hope that I get a nice CLI at the six month mark. Especially since my WAMU Visa has been my workhorse card as of late. But I have to let it marinate for a couple of months and get some usage on some of my other cards. Particularly my Cap1's.

Hoping that WaMu-claus is good to me this weekend. Hit that 18 mos mark at next statement which should drop tonight ot tomorrow....fingers crossed. Opened a few new accounts in the past six months so I understand if they skip me this time, though I will be disappointed if they do. The thought that Chase may take over is going to keep them at 0 or PIF before statement date for the next few months til we see how this thing shakes out.

I should try to get a Wamu account. I had an old Paid / Chargeoff with Providian. Try to get it removed so I can get Wamu Card.

Anyone know if wamu secured gets converted to unsecured?

Didn't know there was a secured till I went in their banking center 6 months back. They said its something new they had started with a $29 AF.

I still have their t&c. Didn't get it though due to too many inq's on chex.

First card Paypal then bought out by WAMU . Have had an cli increase every six months.

Started at 1,000 two years ago now 5,000.

When I was in my WaMu branch just the other day I asked the financial representative that exact question. She said that they don't graduate or convert the secured cards to unsecured ones - they just open a new TL for you. Not sure about how they would handle the account age though.

It's been my experience that BoA, Chase and FIA do auto CLIs. Not sure about Amex because I was aggressively raising my CL via the luv button.

Interesting, maybe its card or region-specific...because I've never gotten an auto cli from Chase and all my CLIs from BOA were vis vi a request originating from me...

Also, I must add that at many times during my WaMu card history my utilization was between 45-75%--however, I still got those periodic increases...this was odd, but very helpful!! I assume they were looking at how frequently i paid more than the minimum (which was always) and my overall on time payment history--

Also my FICO score was also never that high...until more recently...it hovered between 610 and 650 the past three years.

Yep Wamu likes for you to use her card..... I took advantage of their short-term BTs and paid them off before they ran out. I have had that card up to 90% uti. Not recently though... think I will us a BT check they warned me about and take advantage of another 6 mos.
