How long for Cap1 to report to CRAs?

I got approved for my Cap1 on Dec 5 and added as an AU to my wife's Cap1 on Dec 8. I assume mine will start reporting after the first statement...? When should the AU account start reporting? I really want the 30k credit line from my wife's card to show up and save my util.

They reported for me before my first statement which was almost a months after applying. Took two weeks to get my card. And the reported about a week later. They reported the current balance of the card when I got it so don't kill you utilization until after they report then Pif like always.

Not sure if it was because our cards with Capital One are secured but, they were slow to send the cards, slow to post to the CRAs, the whole process was crazy slow.

Same here, it took about a month and reported to all 3 CRAs.

my first card took 2 months. My card I received in November is still not reporting.

Ditto. I've now received two statements on the secured card and it isn't reporting on my report or on my AU's report.

BTW, IIRC, my Cap1 cards reported right after the first statement cut, based on the replies in this thread, it looks like it's a YMMV type of thing with Cap1.

Yes, she has a $30k limit on her 3 year old Cap 1 Platinum, don't ask me how she got that high, she does not even know. At the time she had never had a car loan or mortgage, she has a student loan and was an AU on 4 cards with her mom that had an average of $10k CLs, to boot she was only making $18k a year. I got my card and it only has a puny $500 limit. She rubs it in every second she can get, but hey I am excited that I got an unsecured card coming from a low 500 FICO up to a 657. I think I would have had a higher limit if we had not just put me as an AU on a Citi card that we did a BT for, Util went from 18% to 92%, a few days before I apped.

Wow, I am shocked too. Honestly I have never seen anyone with a Cap1 CL that high.....

I guess they really liked her AU account CLs....

Wonder what they'd give me if (or when, tbh..) my dad adds me to his 6x,xxx Freedom Card as an AU. Going to drawer the AU card cause I have my own Freedom card, but I want the history/UTIL benefits.

He got that high after he combined 3 separate Freedom cards that rolled over from other banks into one, he didn't even know he had the other two accounts until I went to the branch to apply for mine and he asked the banker to take a look at his account.

Wow, that is something you do not read about here at myFICO everyday, A Cap1 cardholder with a 30K CL, that's awesome.
