Did you try apping to Hooters? You probably will get very good CL and if you PIF it is not a bad card. With your scores probably you'll get at least $3000 CL. Even if they start you at $1000 they seem to be pretty good with CL and in 3 months they can double your CL. They usually pull TU for approval.

Hi guys, I just thought that I'd give an update on my most recent post regarding being denied for the Citi PP card. During that same time I also applied for a few more cards and here are the results: Scores: EQ:676, EX:686, TU:666 App-o-rama 07' Target: Denied Nordstrom store card: Denied BOA Plat. Plus Visa: Denied Citi PP: Denied The reason that I was given for every denial was that I didn't have any current revolving credit card accounts reporting. However, I do have 2 car loans, never late and a few previous closed credit card accounts in good standing with no lates. I do want to thank one of the posters for recommending that I apply for a Wamu card because I got approved for $2000!!! I can do a backflip, I'm so happy! I also was approved for a card with HSBC for $300. Not so happy about this one but if it helps to rebuild my credit than I'll take it! My only issue with this card is that HSBC can freeze the account if you use it out of town. Has this happened to anyone and how did you handle it? Thanks for any imput! It is greatly appreciated!!

Not sure, could be more of the credit crunch than anything you're doing or not doing. I missed mine this 6 mos

Well, I probably won't be using this card regularly so I shouldn't run into this problem, however, the CSR said that they do this as a security precaution and to call them before I leave out of town and let them know what city I'll be in so that they don't shut the card off! Crazy right! All for $300!LOL!

I had HBSC for a while...used it out of town and never had a problem with that aspect of the card. However, it was like pulling teeth to get a CLI until I decided to cancel..then they gave me a few thousand, but I cancelled anyway.

Now WAMU...I had them for six months...called them and asked about CLI and was told .... they review on a regular basis...yada..yada..yada....but then when I logged on to my account they had doubled my limit...Now...it has been over a year and it has not yet increased again..Might need to give them a call...just to inquire on policy...
