Cap1- Rec'd my new card today. Standard aqua? with white circle No Hassle. Same account #. Melted my old Starry Night card to destroy it. Called to activate new card, was refreshing to not get hit with sales pitches.

Orchard- re: combine. Rec'd letter. They are asking for income, etc. Looks like a new app. Decided to just keep the two I have rather than go thru the process.

Amex- Itchy finger. Tempted to try the luv. Have had card only 2 months. Plan was to wait 3 months. Undecided. Any advice?

BTW- CCC seem to be spending big bucks on a LOT of adverts. Can't turn the TV on for an hour without getting a few CC adverts. Is it because of holiday season or am I just more aware of them now?

You can try AMEX LUV now. Totally normal to be more observant now that you are "credit aware"

Ha ha- You are both enablers. Paid my Amex $800 bal today before the statement cut. Maybe I'll wait till it shows 0 bal & then try the luv. CL is $2k, what do you think about trying for $5k?

I thought the Orchard combine would be a simple matter, but it is not. Don't want to risk losing $4.25k cl. The older Orchard has a YIKES 23% APR, the newer one is at 12% with 2% CB, so definitely want to hang onto that one.

I put HSBC on notice today.

Waiting for my statement to cut b4 I hit the love button.

How did you put HSCB on notice?

How long have you had the Amex? Any previous cli?

Logged on to my Amex account a few minutes ago.

CL $5k !!! Up from my initial cl of $2k. Terrific.

I hate calling HSBC- But had to for them to send the positive balance on my acct.
No need to go into details - The conversation ended with "OK- I have 2 crappy cards with you, and these will be closed in May and never used again if something does not change."

AMEX opened June 23rd - NO CLI - all but 1 month was PIF.

Hi everyone, I have been lurking for 6 mos and have used some amazing tips. the most reccent is applying a receiving the amex delta miles card. So, I have tried to locate the luv button for future reference and was unable to locate. Any help would be great and Who would be the next best card to apply for? myfico TU 653 EQ 647 EX 635 with one baddie Amex only pulled from EX I pretty sure that why the score difference thank you
