Amex decline

Ok so I Lost my mind last month. Me decline letter simply States: fico score see below.... Serious delinquency And public record or collection filed Proportion of revolving balances to limits too high Proportion of loan limts to loan balances too high Length of time epaccts established Scored me 581 experian Based on fico 300-850. So does this mean some day I have a shot in hell.. My judgement is paid and over 2 yrs old. Will I be able to get one with thaton my credit report?

American Express is going to require at least a 640 I would say for a Zync and possibly a fixed CL with auto pay for a while. No super baddies either.

additionally... 581 you probably need to look for Household, Capital One, Maybe GE like Walmart or Gap, etc.

or secured... no prime cards like Chase, Citi, Amex, etc.

I havent seen any AMEX approval under 650 so far. But try for a secured BOA or Cap One and let is build for about 1 year.

I agree that you should get started with store cards, build some history, and then re~apply for Zync......

ill bring the pies. that's my new thing now. daddy making lots of pies and cake.

i'll make some calls, i'll make sure someone brings an amex card for the open bar tab

Also, look into the Amex prepaid cards. Apparently with good usage, they will invite you to apply for a charge card.
