They pulled EX for me a few months back and I'm in NY.

Chase. They start out w/ low CL's but word on the internet street is that they up you after about three mos w/ good usage patterns, however, I am sure I will not charge enough to see the bump. Not much one can buy at 300 CL trying to keep it under 10 percent. Bought a pair of shoes.

Good thing is they sent great coupons.

Yes totally awesome coupons! I like that there are always internet promo codes for card holders as well.

Great card, hard to get if you have recent-ish lates. Chase is the bank; pulled EX in Tennessee in Feb 07.

Are you able to apply for Kohls online, or do you need to apply at the store? I've always been curious about this..

Applications are in-store only. On the site, you can DL the application to have it ready to go. Honestly though it takes 30 seconds to fill out in the store so I wouldn't bother...but you can see what info they will require. And you need a major cc and government photo ID.

Just applied online. Instant approvall 1000.00 CL. Also bk Chase 05.

Welcome to the forums BTW congrats on your card this place is the coolest just a wealth of knowledge at your ready. Speaking for myself and others I have vastly learned things about my credit and credit in general that I could have not possibly learned anywhere else. I hope you n-joy it as well.

Ok so far we know that they pull from EX! Does anyone know what the lowest score they will approve? The lowest CL the offer? If they have any fee's? Do they only offer one card or more? Thank you in advance for any replys!

kohls gave me 1000 cl when i applied in store 2/07. most recent late 4/06. every six months they gave me cli of 500. upto 2000 now.

At the time mine was approved on a 618 and they pulled experian.

I'm not sure if they always have this deal but last august I went shopping at Kohls and they offered 15% off my purchase just for applying for a Kohls card, as I only go clothes shopping about once a year it was about 2 grand worth of stuff and although I knew I'd be denied, I did the application to save $300... I wonder if they'll let me do that again? I might actually be approved this time.

I've been debating on this card because I like their coupon codes for 15% off and free shipping for card holders only. Has it been worth it? Is their quality good? I don't know how close a Kohl's is for returns.
